Nope because he wasn't a rank C or B warrior before, no matter how strong he is with the sword, he never registered before as a swordman/warrior, so automaticakly he will have F rank...
That is why his mage rank is super high too!!!
that's why guild master should have given him a better rank, being guild master and all.
He could've made a forged card that says c rank swordsman since this guy will be defying common sense ranks anyways, might as well.
It is explained better in the novel but the ranks in this world are determined by the amount of experience a person has, which is tracked by the guild. As the mc is starting out as a “new” warrior he has to be given the f rank because he has “no” history of taking quests. It’s also what he asks for
He coulda been made C or B rank by the guild master, the name change and some backstory could've sufficed...
