I think that he meant that if the person is bi then their second half would be wary more of them getting close to both genders. Everyone feels jealous at times but when the person you love is interested in both males and females then the thought of being left for someone else and jealousy kinda doubles. Or at least that's my interpretation of what the uncle said

Please, since when has that been a strictly bisexual thing? For gods sake full of straight and gay relationships have a higher rate of cheating then those in a relationship with a bi person. The problem comes from either their partners lack of trust or their stupid curiosity at seeing that person with the other sexual preference.
