This was originally a Chinese novel so it's very different from the japanese style.
Its not about sex and porn. Its takes it time developing love and can be considered boring because its more realistic. Which reflects the web comic, showing the mc's everyday life.
Unlike manga, which is instant gratification. Novels are more of an investment because it can take days/weeks/months to read. Unlike mangas. It only takes an 1 or so hrs.
Well slow development isnt for everyone, but i still do recommend it.

after i read like 90ish chapters on the app, there was... incredibly little development in both the relationship and story. its an interesting concept, but poorly executed, all it really had was a thought provoking idea. plus, the story's hard to stay interested in and also hard to follow. had to force myself to read all the chapters since i knew they would only be free for a limited amount of time. i guess i was just reaching
