First of all you are unrealistic, but not in the way you think. Love is possible and achievable. But for that, work, communication and patience is required. From both parties. When I read this kind of manga, i really wang to find that special someone that warms my heart and I warm theirs. I want to grow old and love each other like the first day we met. But love? In this century? Am I an idiot? Nobody wants that.
