Bear in mind that this is China and the Characters are young. It's real easy to judge from afar but try put yourself in that position. IF your conflicted with yourself and already have had a blow before it isn't that easy to overcome it at such young age.
And people are different, so for you it can be easy for others not so.
I don't understand why people get so hung up on whether the other person is gay, straight, or bi. I mean it's not like that's going to make a difference if they decide to leave. A gay guy can leave you for another man just as much as he can leave you for a woman. In the end it's not his sexuality that matters, it's his feelings towards you. ╥﹏╥ it'd stil be devastating tho.
