The King will marry a Princess from other country.. She was an abandon princess as she is unfortunately infertile... The King chosed her because he doesn't want any heir... This is due to he want to inherit the thrown to Edna and Eli son's Alex as he stated that Eli & Edna deserve the position more than him... And the story ends there...
I hope there's season 2 where we can see Edna & Eli lovey dovey moments while building a Kingdom and Alex struggles to become the next King... Must be interesting...
