Where the hell are the super heros? Like they just decided not to come?
The town belonged to redestro so they set it up so that no hero would know about it or interfere, they have heroes on their side as well so it was easily manipulated. The rest of the country doesn't know this is happening. They'll most likely try to cover up the reason the town is destroyed
so... How we gonna explain an entire town being gone..
