personally felt the exact same way. It's your typical obsessive love for childhood friend scenario. Added with a ton of emotional manipulation and self-destructive behavior from both MCs. You kind literally find this all current younger seme/older uke childhood friends plot. So if you're fine with it go ahead and read, just know their love inherently isn't actually romantic in the least bit.

I know I'm late, forgive me but it really is. This was my first-VERY FIRST-Bl manhua, and I must say, it was great. From the plot development all the way down to the art. It'll make you laugh, cry (ye, I did), scream, frustrated, make you question everything (for some reason) but one thing's for sure, when the journey's finished, it'll make you happy you read it. Then cry again cause it's finished. All I can say is, this would be my #1 recommendation for anyone who wants to read a yaoi. So to you my friend, THIS BOOK IS A FUCKING MUST READ!

I mean I understood the appeal of the story like I got it. but I just couldn’t get over just how codependent and toxic they were. I love stories that actually involve communication not grown men who are man babies. Seriously why do people find those sort of characters appealing? Have you actually dealt with man child irl?! They’re the fucking worst. You’re right it was very next level. But then again what manhwa/ manga isn’t like this now a-days? It’s not even enjoyable you just end up banging your head against the screen because of the repetitive stupidity of the characters’ actions.
Is this book worth reading?
