Don't you think it's too much of him to go as far as recommending and sending other people to Wolfgang so that he could have sex with them and being totally okay with it? He said he doesn’t understand why the Emperor always rejects his recommendations and send those people back each time. Even when the flowery boy tried to make him understand that Wolfgang might have feelings for him, the thought itself was literally news to Shin and he just laughed it off like - there's no way!
Really? After all this time? It's almost as if he hasn't developed the tiniest bit of romantic feelings toward Wolfgang and here our boy has been whipped for him all his life and couldn't be more obvious about it. Honestly, I've adored and loved both of them equally up until it was revealed that Shin's totally fine with Wolfgang having sex with someone else.
It was sort of disappointing for me to learn this after all this time. Still love the story tho, and definitely looking forward to it.

Imo, I think Shin has developed at least emotional attraction towards Wolfgang, but doesn't really want to face it, and subconsciously is trying to prove to himself that it is not true.
That's why he's so happy when he receives personal little gifts, but when it comes to big ones he always thinks of himself as his role in the Empire instead of simply Shin.
Matters get worse when you take into account the only kind of love he received as a child was of the motherfucker-we-all-know, and then he was literally bed-ridden and away from normal teenage experiences for a long while.
Even now he is treated as a full-on adult and hardly has time to think outside of his job because he's such a perfectionist.

Duke flower is literally teaching Shin things he was never able too.

Well true, I agree. And Wolfgang never cease to amaze me, what a fine man, for real. So down to earth and modest, not to mention the unreal patience he got.
