So I think I remember seeing somewhere like in the raws or something I read a long while ago, that one time when elijah was like a smol kid, he was looking for her or soemthing and caught her complaining to her mom about "why do I have to dress like a boy yada yada" (and ofc he hid)and he never said anything about it but has been aware of it ever since they were little.
