It seems like a waste, but really it's just the sunken cost fallacy. The real loss comes from Zhi Shu's loss of his family during his relationship with Jiang, which is why he stuck with Jiang for so long, since he had no other family left.
True. Late is late. But I somehow feel pity for Jian. I don't know why. But 10 years of relationship was too long to just gone so wrong and it's such a waste. . Anyway I'm happy that he's in love again tho it seems like he wasn't truly happy at all.
