I can see where you're coming from. Though, I see him as someone who gets swept into things fairly easy. He goes along with the main character, and falls into her pace. You can also tell he's obedient to a fault.

I really like the story but why do I feel like captain Julius’ character is kinda not consistent. And the romance between them seems a bit forced, maybe rushed.
