Genuinely this sometimes makes me frustrated, i’ve never found anything wrong with the ‘typical’ shoujo girl stereotype (unless the character never does anything for herself and is overall a flat character but that goes for any character) because there’s nothing wrong with being hyper feminine and crying, people cry, get over it. I understand people want a strong female lead but there are plenty of mangas which fit the archetype of a so-called ‘strong female’ MC or moreso of a female lead that diverges from the stereotypical MC so I suggest they drop the manga and read those instead of complaining.
It's my opinion to not like the mc. I love the art i thinks it's beautiful. But as for the character them self........eh. Tho I love a kind mc. I think she's overly kind and cuz of that everyone is low-key taking advantage of that. But I'm not also saying that I hate overly kind ppl. I have more to say, but damm autocorrect keeps getting in the damm way. Sorry if this doesn't make sense I'm half asleep typing this.
Why does every mc have to be a badass with a epic additude. I think this girl is way more realistic then the snarky fighting girls who cone out and immediatately bash the social system. She is scared with no real idea whats going on , taking comfort in the two kind people she has met and a hobby she had previously. Who would be teary? Who wouldnt cry, she was attacked, nearly drowned.. robbed by the oneperson she thought was her friend. Everyone keeps calling her weak but how is she weak? Shes upset in situations i would break down in. Yet shes not drowning in despair she keeps going. Tired of all the people complaining that shes a bad mc. Give the damn girl a chance will ya? Stop jughing the entire story and saying things like not worth the read. Its disrespctful to the artist and author who clearly worked hard. I myself wouldmt mind being saved by a hot ass emperor i guess that makes me a weak woman to
