Well said! I was going to leave a long rant too, but I think yours said what i felt better
I kinda skipped it a little but in the end i dont disregard the story of it. Sex is always great but story is progressing quite ok
If you have some free time, re read it and you will see, the story is not just "quite ok", almost everything follows the Chekhov's Gun and this is unseen for me in the yaoi universe.
The only unexplained part so far was about the curse

At the beginning of the story, Leopold was hit by the night wathers' curse to protect Charlotte who was the original target. the benediction on Leopold's sword twisted the curse and sent him in the future, and part of the curse was transfered in Taehoon's body.
A few chapters later, they explained that the curse consists on the target being condemned to have sex with themselves; which didn't really made sense yet.
But later again, Charlotte asked Noah to have sex in order to confirm if she was an actual witch, because she was told that a witch's power awaken when she loses her virginity.
-so at this point, the curse makes sense, the night watchers wanted to prevent Charlotte from losing her virginity so she wouldn't awoke her witch's power-
This was kind of confirmed but then, in the next chapters when Charlotte's mom's soul awaken, she tells her it wasn't true (the virginity thing) and that it was about true love.
So this makes the the curse explanation void

and so far, it's the only thing that hasn't been explained in the whole manwha. I look forward to the rest because the story being so coherent, that detail has been bugging me since the very beginning xD

And i was right in the end, the rape was what connected taehoon to leopold.
Seriously, read the story well or read it NOT.
It's all so freaking coherent, if you are just looking for fluff read something else.
The author is creating an amazing story that doesn't just "forget" the disturbing/unpleasant/complex parts so for once, we have more than a plain and superficial story and you are all insulting the author just because you're as plain and superficial than your tastes in manga.
I accept the fact that everybody's different, and that you have your own preferences. This is normal. This is even good.
But what is even better is that for once an author works hard on giving us more than a kid's story or fap material.
And you ruin everything.
Stop focusing so much on the rape and violence themselves and start to think about their purpose, because in THIS story, they were not just left here to satisfy our twisted kinks.
This is so rare, but all you do is complain because you have the interest and focus span of a cactus.

Seriously, there are millions of mangas that talk about literally nothing and will just give you fluff, sex and rainbows. Please, stop ruining the experience for us bitches who sometimes want a little bit more than confession under the rain, stolen kisses between desks and uncensored vanilla sex.
