I understand the point they are trying to make, however they are making it poorly.
Basically they are saying... It's fiction - Get over it. Rape is fetishised in most erotic literature for women. If it doesn't do it for you, read something else and stop moralizing to people who enjoy this kind of drama.
And for my 2 cents:
Saying that reading rape in fiction is supporting rape culture makes no more sense than saying watching slasher flicks is supporting murderers.
It's just a cheap thrill. Nobody needs to be getting all butthurt about it...
Tee hee... Butthurt... (≧▽≦)

People keep acting like those who are ok with what happened chapter 20 ‘love rape’ and are screwed up for thinking the scene was hot. If liking or just being ok with certain sexual fantasies directly connects to having the same stance with real situations then anyone who is reading this kind of comic is guilty of fetishizing gay men and forcing unrealistic connotations onto them. It’s getting annoying to see people acting like they have a moral high ground cause they avoid rape. If you can read yaoi and not be guilty of seeing real gay couples as stereotypes of the genre then others can be ok with yaoi including rape in its plot in the same way. It’s fantasy, and using the excuse that it’s fictional and porn can’t be applied to one aspect and not the others. It’s ok if that’s not your preference just don’t shame other people because of theirs
