I agree with "the other guy is super boring" indeed he is, what a boring character. Still hard for me to ship Chiwoo with the crazy bastard tho.
I'm rooting for the angry guy. Jihyun's got issues but they clearly have feelings for each other and the other guy is super boring. I mean Jihyun even forgives Chiwoo for assuming he murdered another person! That's love, man.
