For me, i lost all interest in the main couple the moment the MC became insecure (even though technically thats his true nature and his confidence was fake).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is more interested in the side couples over the main couple. I love the main couple too but I'm more interested in uncle Pan's backstory and how his relationship is going to go with taht kid (I forgot his name).

The side couples are so much more interesting !!! I hope the focus will stay on them :D
