maybe one of the reason he started having interest is cos her thoughts are interesting, and almost mysterious in a funny way. He's trying to find out why she's thinking things he can't even recognize
People in novels tend to think for really long times before acting so people might be used to waiting 10 min for someone's answer since they're literally in a novel lol
But that's usually implied to be happening in an instant. Here we have Arwin standing there staring and grinning at Latte while she goes on her mental tangents.
Like sometimes there are several panels where you see him staring at her while she thinks.
I've been thinking this more and more lately... Arwin can totally read minds right?
He always like, either looks on silently while Latte goes on her long thinking sprees, or actually seems to react to them.
And he's the mega magic master fish. So there's probably a mindreading spell right?
