That’s it?!!!

That was the ending? Seriously?! All this time waiting for the update - I even forgot what was happening in this manga for just this?! The plot started great and then all of a sudden went down hill as if the mangaka had a tantrum and got tired of writing; even the drawing became sloppy and chibi, a far cry from the sexy images at the beginning.

The same is happening with “Chrisom Spell” just laughable, I just hope this won’t happen to “Finder” , but per the last chapters it seems is heading the same direction...( *`ω´) ( ̄へ ̄)

I agree with the art. These days the ukes in these mangas looks like high shoolers instead of sexy muscular young guys. and the semes also lost muscularity and that masculine wild sexy look in their faces. the art of the last vols are lame. I miss the strong sexy masculine looks and vibe of the firsts vols/years

It was a span of over 10 years, so her art style changes. You are being ridiculous for saying she draws them younger on purpose. You can literally see the change over the years in Finder.
On another note, no Japanese high schooler looks like those seme lmao.

Don’t be ignorant, of course no Japanese high schooler is going to look like that, in the art of drawing it means she went from drawing masculine bodies to lean and almost delicate-feminine type. And I praise the mangakas that are consistent with their work. Why change the art and diminish the plot when the higher percentage of fans are selecting to read the manga because of these two? Doing this makes it look like it’s a half-assed work. Go back read some of the first chapters and tell me it’s not true.

If the mangaka wanted to change the story (because got bored or tired, or whatever), then end the manga currently working on with the same quality delivered since the beginning and start another one with the new changes. Doing this in the middle of a manga tells boredom got the best of creativity.

I’m not going to argue with you about the plot because I’m not even a fan of this particular manga. Do you have any proof that “a higher percentage of fans” reading her works because of the more masculine bodies she used to draw and that they are mad at the changes? Aside from the few whining so-called “fans” who has never actually supported the author on Mangago?
The author has all authority over their works, and she is free to improve the drawing however she sees fit. I still think the men she draws these days look masculine. It’s all about preference and not everyone love a hunky dude. Too meaty for some.
I know you have all the right to complain about how unsatisfied you are with the change, however accusing the author of drawing characters younger on purpose and calling them “high school look” are a bit far fetched.

No one is arguing we are just stating a point that there is a difference in how they are looking. We get older and our looks change I get it but these are a drastic changes. For example in particular, not necessarily this manga but Finder, Asami's face is looking a little more feminine not as angular as in past books, if there are time jumps in the story please tell me, his body type changed too as for the uke, always didn't like asami's uke anyway he just annoyed me but he's more annoying then ever. Some stories get better and some it feels that the mangaka is losing interest and we can see it as fans. I'm not putting her down and I'm not going to stop reading but you have to wonder are they just continuing because money...IDK. I'm just telling what I see. We are just stating these noticeable differences as we get older I assume we get a bit wiser and less annoying but that's just me (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

Okay you misunderstood. I didn’t mean she changed the drawing style because the characters got older. It’s natural that one person’s drawing/writing style may change gradually over time. Finder has been drawn over a period of 10 years and you can see the change reflected there. If you ever following any creator/artists (think painter, singer, actor etc) some people stick to their signature style, while other change over time. Some of these changes are conscious, some are not. Legendary mangaka like Fujiko F Fujio, Osamu Tezuka, or popular ones like Mitsuru Adachi, Rumiko Takahashi, Chie Shinohara etc all have walked through different styles in their works.
Seriously if you think Yamane’s only in this for the money, she doesn’t even need to draw anymore. Finder is popular enough that she can simply live off merchandise and licensing her works.

Ok...I've just recently got into Yaoi I read Finder after a friend suggested I read it. I read it over a few months time not over a span of 10 years and these are what I've noticed. I'm sorry I like my masculine seme's! I'm sorry I like them rawr! I'm sorry I stated my opinion! I'm sorry I'm not as into Yaoi as some people are! Reading Yaoi for me is a little escape from reality after a long stressful day!
