Feilong and Asami I believe Fellong never loved Asami the way Takaba does , He cares deeply for Asami . He has high regard for him ,what Asami thinks of him matters a lot and he wants approval from him.In that H.K arc when Asami seeks to prevent Feilong from going back and falling into Yan's trap Feilong says to Asami what are you saying you will love me in place of my father? That to me is a telling statement. All through this arc Asami's actions toward Feilong where of kindness and care. (the father figure) He(Feilong) never had as a child. Seven years before Takaba, Asami did care about Feiong but there were many prob. between them and no trust.

Very good points. I not for circumstance, and Feilong's brother, Fei and Asami may have had a chance at a relationship. Too bad we will never get to see intimate scenes of them together like Asami and Aki, except in our imaginations. :)

Probably Asami saw right through Fei and realized he wasn't ready for a real relationship and true commitment but I think he really liked Fei at that time.

Problem is Asami didn't love Fei Long, He pity him. Asami knew that Fei's feelings were deep, so Asami didn't want to entangle with him and hurt him.

And yes, Fei Long seeks Asami as a father figure, but that's just daddy issues haha. A lot of persons fall in love with people looking for their father or mother in them or the love they needed from them. That's how it is for Fei Long. Huh.. how is stating that Asami said Fei is not his type acting like a dumped girlfriend? Sensei straight up said that Asami was looking for camaraderie and not love from Fei. In the novel it was written Asami’s first experience wanting to be loved is Akihito. These facts tend to point that Asami never loved Fei. I’m sure he was sexually attracted, Fei is beautiful why wouldn’t he be. It was even shown Asami had some sort of lover in naked truth which he was using to get information so it’s not like he was above playing around or using sex to get whatever gains he wanted.

This was true. It was established that Asami did have a type in Vol. 2. The HK cop was an example of that. What he didn't want was an intimate lover who was of the underworld. In Fei, he simply wanted a comrade. These are facts that were provided by YA.

Asami and Feilong the present time: the battle in the hide out. (just my op.) reset their relationship and Fei's role. Saving each other often and shaking hands in the end. (bothers in arms). Fast forward to the boat and Feilong being the caring one (like Asami) to Mik. who saves them breaks them out it's Feilong. role reversal.

I love how you just gloss over the reply of the other anon and the fact that the mangaka of this yaoi has stated that Asami never had any romantic feelings towards anyone aside from Akihito and in the novel it clearly states that before Akihito he had never loved anyone. Translations have been posted on this board. This is not about people getting defensive, this is about people like you going through extreme mental gymnastics in order to create something that never was, going against the mangaka's word and plot. No one knows these characters' minds and feelings better that YA, her word when it comes to them is law. The plot is going one way and one way only. We are all free to ship whoever we want, but not to the point of inventing elaborate stories to fuel our obsessive needs. I know many of you are trolls looking to stir shit up, and while that's indicative of serious shit going on with that individual's personality, there are many disturbed people who actually believe what they write. People worthy of pity and in need of help.

I agree that it never would have worked out romantically in the long run. Egos, Empires and long distances. And I just cannot picture Asami giving his tushy to Feilong. But they could have developed a strong mutual respect for each other and maybe friendship with benefits since there was a physical attraction. However that is all just seed for my imagination. I still really like the recent changes in how Asami and Feilong have worked together, there is more respect there. The meet up at the harbour is going to prove very interesting. I've been wondering if Mikhail will try to work with Asami for Feilong's sake. And when will Yoh show up???
