Vol2 chap. 6 I think page 6(?) after a fight with Yan both are told to leave the main house after pulling guns on each other to cool their heads. Fei takes it as a rejection by Lui sr. and stalks out "Father will never truly accept me". I can't tell if he is thinking this or telling this to some one, any way he refuses to comply and goes to a bar. He runs into Asami things happens and they wind up in Asami room Fei confines in him. Asami tells him "so what if your father won't accept you, You know your true worth. where is your ambition. A messenger comes from Yan telling Fei to return to the main house. Fei thinks of his ambition and makes his choice. I see him as wanting the spot and you do not that is fine also. It has been an interesting disc. thank you for having it with me. I end here.

Feilong wasn't ambitious at all, that was exactly his problem. He was too deep in his complex and his love for his father to see anything else. As He himself says: He's a guy moved by his feelings and pations.

Feilong is a truly smart and capable guy, it that doesn't mean anything without the right motivation.
His whole drive is "please, somebody love me" and that's why He would do anything for that sake.

That's why He accepted to be Baishe's dog under his brother's orders, not going against him, to be loved by his father. He was putting his love and honor in danger just to be loved by his father.
Also, Feilong has a tendency to auto destructive behaviors.

The Feilong we see and know now is just the result of Asami's getting in his life. It was Asami the one that drived Feilong to the correct path, urging him to be ambitious and take care of himself. If it weren't for him, Feilong would have died long ago by his brother, or his real father hands or later on jail.

And so on... Feilong was ready to give everything to Asami or become whatever it was needed to be approved by him. He is until now wanting Asami for himself, obsessed by his attention, even putting himself and his organization in danger just to see him. Even their subordinates know that Feilong lost his temper about Asami and nothing matters anymore when Asami is in the game.

Of course, this is with a negative connotation.. just because Asami doesn't love Feilong. It's a childish response to rejection. But if Asami changes and accepts Feilong, then Fei would throw away anything without thinking twice.
That's the kind of person He is.

Feilong was very patient, because he wanted to achieve recognition of his father. He wanted his father to be proud of him and see him as a good son. Unfortunately, Feilong tried to achieve this by completely obeying and fulfilling the will of the family that abused him. But when his patience was full, Feilong nearly killed his brother for the insult. Of course, Asami encouraged him, but the main decision to leave his brother’s control was made before that. The Feilong is quite ambitious and proud in itself, but like any normal person, it needs support and comfort in difficult life moments, as well as the love that adorns life and is an important component of happiness. And Asami and Mikhail also need this, they are not robots.
And now you absolutely do not understand the motives of Feilong and distort them. He has long come to terms with refusal, this is clear from the end of the Naked Truth and the novel. Asami forced him 2 times (first to heal his hands, second to actually make out with him) and Feilong didn't act to it, not even after free himself.
Feilong doesn't need support and confort in a normal way: He's needy. He is desperate for love and do things on the edge due this. He has pride but not selfsteem.

Nor Asami or Mihail has been spotted in this situations. I don't undestand that comparation. They have their own personality traits and defects on their own.

I agree that Feilong moves on and let this things in the past, but we are discussing how's his personality and how WOULD have been things between Asami and him.
