The attacker looks like his half brother who stole the roommate's glasses so kim ho would later think the roommate did it.
ohhh... that would be better plot wise, since it would be really odd if glasses friend attacked.
I was about to reply to this about how it's not the half brother, but I see that chapter 23 is up so I'm off to reading, guys!

I can't spoil much, but I briefly went through the raws for chapter 23 (I can only read Hangul, but I don't understand it very well) and I think it's his friend/roommate, because the 'attacker' called him "Ho-ya" and that's what the MC's friends or only his roommate call(s) him... Also at some point Ho will scream out "Park Kyunghoon!", which will make him stop and thus give Ho the chance to run away.
It is also shown that it's the roommate, but since the characters look quite alike, I was hesitating... And Ho calling out his name, confirmed my suspicion.
