I agree with you BUT if we're taking his career in consideration like she did, she is right, being gay in Korea is already not accepted but in the football/soccer field ? It's career suicide, it's a serious topic since few weeks in France actually.
Gay aren't accepted in most sports (especially team sports) even now. That's the hard truth and it won't change any time soon unfortunately.
I'm more referring to her attitude over the circumstances. She's right that they have to be more careful with their relationship, knowing that there are people out there who aren't accepting of gay people, but her blatant homophobia is only fanning the flames. She could have warned them without being so judgemental.
Oh I agreed with this part, she acted like an entitled *****. She had NO RIGHT to be mad, to act the way she did or say anything she said. And she is indeed acting homophobic and self-centered.
It's one thing to be hurt over finding out your crush likes someone else, it's another to straight up act like it's the worst case scenario to find out your crush is gay. This girl is so blatantly homophobic. "It would have been better if you were a girl"?? It'd have made no difference, honey. In fact, in my experience, I've crushed on a bisexual girl who preferred a boy over me, and honestly it made me feel a little better. It's stupid and dumb but I took a little comfort in thinking that she might have just preferred a boy over me, a girl. Not that there's really a big difference because gender doesn't matter for bisexuals, but I felt a bit comforted just knowing that was a possibility.
This girl is just unreasonable and homophobic. Girl bye.
