The uke died in the end.... the ex bf never got to see his last moment. The doctor was beside the uke on his death bed. I saw another person commented saying before the uke died, him and the doctor had sex, even though it was painful for the uke, he didn’t want to stop cause he knows that will be the first (?) and last sex they will have. Before the uke died, he remembers him and his ex bf during their high school year since that was the happiest moment of his life. (Hint: the 10 years I loved you the most). When uke and his ex bf started living together, they were broke so they would go eat dumplings (that’s why at the beginning, uke wanted to go out and eat dumplings with his ex bf, but of course ex bf wanted to go out somewhere (or go work, forgot which one it is).

Even though, uke stayed with the doctor on his last breath, he still loved his ex bf. That’s why he didn’t really return the doctor’s feeling cause he knows he doesn’t have much time left. It will only hurt the doctor more.

This story is sad... in my head, I’m just imagining both of them (uke and doctor) reborn and fall in love again.

Like the person above said, zhishu will die without jiang seeing him. He even said he doesn't wanna meet jiang in his afterlife. No happy endings for the three. Zhishu is dead, doctor will go to a different country i think and wenxu jiang will commit suicide few years after i think........

Yeah, it makes me super sad that zhishu regrets it all, even his good memories with jiang, then again he deserves to be happy, and wenxu jiang didn't fulfill that promise so fuck him. i think they did say theres like an extra(??) where zhishu reborns and has happy life but idk if thats true or who he ends up with

I hope the extra has a good end, where zhishu has a good life.
I don't care, who he ends up with (well, as long as not with his ex). I wish he is happy.
