I think (and this is just my opinion) that he means that if Gunchan doesn't agree to be his kin, he will make Gunchan be his kin. Papa has successfully made a kin for the first time in centuries and he doesn't intend to let Gunchan go. He just prefers that Gunchan agree to it since that would make things easier.

Gunchan is aware of this situation and his friends could do little to stop Papa. He also doesn't want his friends to endanger themselves on his behalf. He is also intrigued by Papa. So at this point is giving non-answers of "Weeeeeellll, let me think about it first".

He knows the only option is "Yes", but instead he's giving "Hmm... well maybe. I'll get back to you".

Papa has met his match.

Gunchan really knows how to give the one answer that Papa can't do much about. His plans are for "Yes" or No". Gunchan's "Gosh, still thinking about it. Just need a little longer" are delightfully frustrating Papa to no end.

Err do kins even have a choice?? I mean like what Hyung Woo did to MC. He unintentionally bit the MC while he's drunk and tadaaa Hyung Woo made him his kin right??

Which is why I'm still at loss as to what this new chapter is for (⊙…⊙ )

I did not understand most of what they talked in this chapter update

Well, technically there is a choice, but not really. Once the bond is made the vampire will crave the kin's blood. It's more than that. As other chapters mentioned, they know "their" kin. The type that will become immortal if bitten. They'll want that kin as close as possible. The kin will become just as drawn to their vampire.

This didn't work out for Hyung Woo because he was kept separated from his first kin after biting her. Papa tried to keep prevent his son from bonding with the human by imprisoning her, yet still tried to feed her blood to his son. This just destroyed them both. And finally she died for her resistance.

It seems like vampires get crazy if they are kept separated from their kin. This means that the kin system has made a lot of very angry, semi-crazy vampires.

Now that Papa has a kin he is no better. He tried to stay away from Gunchan, but can't. He is realizing he won't be able to stay away from Gunchan so instead is pressuring Gunchan to stay by his side.

Normally, a vampire could use domination and other tricks to ensure their kin's loyalty. However, Gunchan is immune to these things and it seems to make Papa nervous. His most powerful ability is his domination which has no affect on Gunchan.

He could kidnap Gunchan, but he wants Gunchan to be loyal to him. Instead he feels jealous that Gunchan seems more loyal to his friend, Minhoon, than Papa. Even though Papa forced Gunchan to become his kin, that usually doesn't stop a kin from becoming loyal to his vampire anyway via domination and other tricks.

I think it is a bit different, the kin and the vampire won't become drawn to each other, is more like if the vampire bites the human is because he already feels drawn to him (love or hunger or whatever), so they can be appart, it is just that they don't want to.
In chapter 28 they said that if someone reject the kinship they just buy their blood, so there is really nothing that forces them to be close.

After reading your explanation I agree with you but I think it is more complicated. Papa is also taking about physical protection from other vampires. Minhoon doesn’t have the power to protect Gunchan from other vampires but he does, which is why he infused his scent into Gunchan as a way of telling other vampires to not touch. Papa had a Kin in the past and let him go without going insane (maybe because he is a pure vampire). I think Papa cared about his first Kin but Loved his wife so it wasn’t that hard to give him up (he might even make an appearance or be reviled latter). However, Gunchan is different, Papa finds him interesting and is falling in love with him (I don’t think Papa realizes his feelings) so he doesn’t want to lose his and he doesn’t like that Gunchan has become his weakness.
