Also I want to see if anyone has thoughts the same way I do regarding the ex. Doesn't it feel like maybe he's under somewhat mind control? Maybe that's why he felt betrayed that she's leaving him for his brother? Like what if we're seeing parts of his true self through the anger? Like what if this entire time under the mind control he's seeing the person who's always by his side leave him for his brother and slowly losing sinking into hatred cause she can't see it that he does want her and that it's not him who's doing all these terrible things but the mind control that's making him do it. Which would explain later in the raws what he was about to do to her.
