I agree, I personally like it when the story is a bit slower especially when it comes to romance BUTT what the author is doing is delaying the main couple and their development through the secondary couple(who were originally very irrelevant to the main couple and story). This makes it seem like the author doesn't know how to progress the main couple, and gave up on them by creating another couple for no reason at all. But this is just my opinion.
I feel like the second couple shouldn't have been so focused on at least not until the main couple got their shit together.
Well that is your taste and that is fine. I think it is good how this Author tries to do something else. Because what you say is just what all Authors do and it's boring.
Well I think there is an Idea. But people are impatient. Because people are so used to how it always goes in other manga's and manwha's they expect this to be the same. I'm glad it isn't because it is so predictable. Now the Author have some room to play with both stories and she can try some twists.
I guess that makes sense, I am used to a lot of comics having the main couple developed, and then the secondary couple appearing. It's nice that the author is trying a different approach, but then again, I believe the main couple should have been developed abit more (just a bit) because it feels like they are being put on hold. The secondary couple is being progressed more than the main couple. It would have been cool if the main couple was also slowly progressing(in the bg) as the author is showing the second couple story. The second couples introduction was way too fast.
but I agree with what you said about how the author is making the comic unpredictable. This kind of approach is different, and in a way, thats what makes the story unique. But I wish the author didn't disregard the main couple while doing this.
It's hard to tell what the Author is telling is. China is a complex land and a complex place to live for gay people. I think this story is giving us a glimpse of how it goes in that country. We in western society have it easy compared to them. I think there is more depth in this story then we see. Just reread it and look into the details.
Some people here just need to binge watch stories instead of complaining how slow things are. Some others like me enjoy slow stories. And finally we have a story which goes slow. All the other ones end roughly after 50 to 80 chapters. I'm happy with the diversity.
