In the Novel, Jeanette is the half sister of Atanasia. In tru, the first fiance of the emperor cheated on him with his big brother. THe brother didn't get her pregnant but created Jeanette with black magic. Jeanette doesn't know that, but Atanasia know because of her past life.
The mc was reborn into a novel she read. In the novel, jeanette appeared at around 10 years old and was discovered to be the mcs sister and the emperors daugther. While the mc was thrown away, jeanette won the emperors affection. The mc was later framed of trying to poison jeanette so the emperor executed her without much thought.
When the mc was reborn in the novel she however got the affection of her father while growing up and changed the story.
Well, basically, MC was a reincarnation. In her previous world she was reading a novel which featured her and her half sister, Jeanette, as children of the Claude.
Now, in the novel, Jenette was the child of Claude and one of his mistresses, Countess Rosaria. However, it was revealed that Jeanette was actually a product of black magic.
In the novel, MC was supposed to be killed by Claude for poisoning Jeanette, although it was found later on that MC had nothing to do with Jeanette's poisoning.
I think these should all happen before MC turned 16 or 18 (not sure) but in her timeline now, a lot of things are different from that of the novel.
PS. The letters are probably from the ladies whom she had invited in her tea party at the time the incident involving the ribbon happened.
