Can you enlight me why using BOB is funny, I feel like I am missing a joke and I don't like it :D
The letter spell out Bob which is a pretty common english name. So hearing it assoicated with something that should be cool and mystic is amusing.
It just makes me think about that stupid rapper that thinks the Earth is flat.
I think its because one of the minions is called bob, either way i dont get it too.
There's also:

This is Bob when the car goes by.
It's a rhyme that was popular where you would have letters drawn on your fingers to spell out the entire rhyme and have a bloody mess drawn on your other palm when you reached the "when the car goes by part."
And Bob the Builder, a cartoon.
And in general, Bob is a goofy name in America that's funny in jokes and stuff.
But when they call them BOB, I just start laughing, it's so hilarious
