The art is terrific? Dude you ok?
I see where you're coming from. Their backstories are pretty cliche and unoriginal. But that doesn't stop me from loving the characters and looking forward to reading more.
Or backs stories getting more shallow and cliche, and the characters are so 2D like I can't even see them as actual people. The art is terrific but the writing is like fanfaction for beginner writers.
