Uhh...I don't think he/she meant it that way. The webtoon itself hasn’t started romanticizing the rape part yet (cause we don't know what'll happen afterwards). It could be dark and twisted in terms of how the uke would go through a mental trauma after finding out everything, and then miserably failing to get justice and just forced to accept it all considering the unfair laws of society of the time being. There could be all sort of dark and twisted turns in a story out there. It's just that the author herself hasn’t romanticize this awful incident but most of the "readers" are doing it already, which is kinda sad. It's not about the story, it's about the people's reaction to it. She's talking about that I believe.

Just because it’s dark doesn’t mean that you can’t criticize the rape scene. Some people just have empathy

That advice does not work here. The problem here is that these ppl DO like to read these comics but they can't stand the hype in the fujo 'community' and so they feel disgusted with the ones who like the story even with the rape shit.
