I don't think anybody is confused about that they just consider his behavior to be out of character and the situation to be kind of forced. As far as I know they met once for a few minutes and then the uncle told him in a few sentences about his relationship with LiHuan but that's all he knows about him.
And now, all of a sudden they coincidentally meet in the middle of the city and redhead is giving him an eye opening scolding after Yuyang had physically attacked him. That's just a weird situation that is hard to believe.
Oh I forgot to add this, Redhead doesn't know about YuYang's past. He has never talked about this with the uncle or anybody else so he basically just guessed almost everything about YuYang's emotional state correctly. Which does feel like a stretch.
