I can see y though. There is an imbalance of power. it would be like a teacher sleeping with their student. It can lead to abuse, and so is considered unethical.

Also in china master = taking on a father/ mother role... So to them it's kinda like incest... Also it's especially understanding when you consider the fact that most masters are significantly older than their disciples.
