it would be better written, if Feng YuHeng wasn´t such a Mary Sue. And there is some romance, but just laaater in the story (though main focus is still on the drama).

yeah I read until chap 784 ther was some small romance as them both sleeping in the same bed and I think some small kisses, but thats it. Though marriage is getting closer, so maybe I should continue reading. I think in total it is supposed to be over 1000 chaps X___x
No, what makes this fun is that she IS a Mary Sue. That's why I keep reading it. Mary Sues are underrated.

There are already a zillion manga where the mc has flaws and weaknesses. I don't want her to lose a single fight, miss a single step. I want her OP and victorious. That to me is the essential fun of these rebirth/transmigration revenge stories. Overpowered former weakling wreaks beautiful havoc and NO ONE can stop them.
Given her age there cant be the romance you want until she comes of marrying age we'll have to settle for courting & flirting for now.
This is more of a palace/ family drama not really a romance. The drama is truly amazing and really well written but it doesnt make my heart flutter ╮(￣▽￣)╭
