Just my opinion

I feel really bad for Junseok tbh. I know he's kind of a huge fucking idiot for pretending like he'd kill himself but I really think he's just super out of touch. It was already stated that his only friend is Muyeong so it is VERY possible that he didn't see the immediate issue with faking a suicide to get his friend to come. But, I also have no reason not believe that if Muyeong told Junseok how horrible that was he would regret his actions. I mean shit, I definitely have done things that I didn't really see the big deal at first until someone explained why I fucked up then regretted my actions immediately. The way I see it is that he knows 100% that his emotions for Muyeong is real so he has no problems trying to take him away from another straight guy who might hurt him in the end. He also sort of seemed incredibly miserable since his whole life was predetermined by his mom. There was a specific points where he kept saying "Why not just settle with a female and get married and live a normal life?" and we later find out he's in love with his friend. It was almost like, he told himself that happiness doesn't exist because he must live life in a way where he conforms to society despite how he feels. Which is understandable since his mother seemed incredibly heartless (talking about the company while he is still recovering from a fucking SPINAL INJURY. I do not doubt that she was like this since his childhood). Which explains why he wished he had died but only kept living because of Muyeong. He was really the only thing that let him be himself in a world where the path he hated was set. The story does a great job at covering these tragedies with a comedic layer but ultimately his story is VERY sad but he still came out to be an incredible person who cares for Muyeong. I'm almost amazed at how incredibly well the author did at creating a realistic person (it was the first time I felt immersed in a story since all of them felt real). He's a human being with flaws but he ultimately has his friends best interest at heart. He has fucked up and he will probably continue to fuck up but it doesn't change the fact that he values Muyeong so much. He's not your average main character that is immune to criticism. He's a like a realistic person. And unfortunately, people irl can suck but we all try our best and never want to genuinely hurt the ones we love. In my book he's a good guy.
