Because Jamil didn’t care if Jan was selfish as long as he was with him. But in order not to feel guilty, Jan devastated Jamil, which was truly the most selfish because he sacrificed Jamil to his guilt.
Good point but if you say that in the way that Jamil didn't care it will make him egoist and ignorant because Jan want to change but Jamil will not let him do it . So i think the only solution was to take a break
