I’ve gotten to some serious parts, but you’re right, the comedy never stops. The illustrator goes the distance with the hysterical facial expressions of even the most insignificant background characters. Also, the way couriers bang thru doorways screaming announcements and scaring the crap out of the emperor, Cao, Censor, etc. cracks me up. It’s like comedy theater or a variety show. Hahaha!! Too funny. I’m so glad I found this.

I think my favorite part is when the concubine keeps getting the other concubine wet with tea or with buckets of tears each time the other concubines announced the brother ( disguised as his sister) keeps spending nights with the emperor.ヾ(☆▽☆)(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
The misunderstandings they get and that the brother continues to let them believe is absolutely hilarious!ლ(´ڡ`ლ) ╮(￣▽￣)╭(⌒▽⌒)
Lol, and the concubine “getting soaked” gag is used later in the story again!
I binged and caught up. Whew, those battle scenes were tough. This story is so well done. Comedy, suspense, turmoil, so many emotions. Also, there’s no dragging with the plot.
I’m only on chapter 8, but had to say this is freaking hilarious. Between the brother’s thoughts, faces he makes, and his manly behavior he exhibits while dressed as a woman....I’m laughing out loud several times a chapter. I hope it’s like this the whole way through.
