There are many missing details here than the novel actually, some of their thoughts were not mentioned. I just can't explain it very well but in the novel her indeciveness is not that visible.
Though she has her initial opinion about the duke's personality sometimes the duke's simple actions give some meaning to her that he might be not a jerk as what she thought that's why you can see that she contradicts herself for not expecting something.
Yeah but it’s not as visible as how they show it here... I’m already kinda irked by the manhwa and how it’s so different already to the novel...
I dont understand why shes so surprised at him not being husband-y enough. Like yeah the Duke is a dick and they kissed a few times but she expressed it herself multiple times that she doesn't think highly of him and she knew the kind of marriage she was going in to and now she's suddenly expecting affection.
So far the story has been okay and I like Lucia and her oddity its just that this chapter annoyed me because her personality here is a bit inconsistent with how she was previously portrayed.
