I think it’s cause her character is so cutesy and fake. Like her saying “brodwer” and and overly childlike. I don’t think the author has her there for any reason other than aww points
What put me off about her at first was when art's mom and dad were spending time with him because he literally just got home, and she was getting jealous (yes I understand she's just a child tho) additionally she seems to tends distract the characters often.
It's because real 2-3 year olds can actually say the word 'brother' without weird lisps and Mis-pronunciations, no real child that age would say things like 'brodwer' unless they're way behind in normal developmental age. writers always seem to not realize that kids don't normally speak like this
