Agreed! He's just a little dense about manners and the usual things you would learn in the city, but could you blame him? He's basically been outcast by society just for being a snake, being called feral. For someone so "feral" he's treated her with so much gentleness and respect it's hard to believe she's still so hesitant about Curtis clearly being best boy.
I like Curtis the most. He is really genttle and care about her.
