I ship friend and MC but yeah I get this too. He couldn't act on his like for whatever reason which is why the other person remains oblivious and why he stays as the friend. Though I dont think blondie deserves MC yet, I have to give him props for being clear and direct with his intentions.
If the friend wanted to be with our uke then he should have confessed to him. Not that I hate the ship. Was kinda rooting for it too. Plus the uke is dense so hints definitely wouldn't have worked on him. Honestly blondie deserves to get the uke cause he acted fast.
