I totally agree, if you read in the comment below, he’s a plain psycho, through and through.

To me, it is because the MC is really a newbie when it comes to analyzing people...

Remember, in her 1st life, she was an stoic, emotionless, no substance and fumes off a determined queen aura. She has a bad relationship with her father. She has no friends and has no good surrounding before.. So, now that she is twisting her own destiny as per she wishes.. Every step is a new take of her new path and that would also mean she is not that sharp yet..
I believe that people experience being dumb as of analyzing people and thus makes one suffer for not being sharp enough.

In my life, I have moments for being dumb from people's ill advances because their approach is thy new and in facade view of point... looks genuine...
