As someone who read the novel, I advice you to drop this. Because if you are frustrated now by everyone's low IQ and EQ, you are going to be really mad really soon. I agree with you, political drama and intelligent and strong characters sounds much more interesting. But it's not what this story is. This one is for readers who want to get diabetes from all the sugar and cheesiness and who don't mind a weak and slightly stupid MC and plot. While reading the novel, I came very close to dropping it many times. So if you chose to keep reading, be prepared.

I think it's more likely that 'Akari' Is obviously another reincarnator who perhaps died after the second games release? I mean to the person who read the novel is that correct? I mean i assume she is stupid on top of that i'm more sick of the whole 'originally innocent and pure mc of otome game is actually a bitch and the prince/etc etc are also supremely stupid' Like ok i love our villaness turned strong mc's but why is every royal who is supposed to be highly educated and probably generally suspicious of randoms attaching themselves to them so blindsided by rando girls trying to break of their engagements?!
Yeah, she is a reincarnator who knows about the sequel, unlike our mc. But Akari is kinda crazy. I can't really tell you anything else without spoiling you, but I can tell that at least her prince is not 100% brainless.

Akari is not a consistent character. She goes from spoiled brat to over powered yandere. Then gives up on her goal for no apparent reason and then becomes an obsessive friend in a way. I guess you could say she just changed targets...? LOL Like I said, she is comes off as a crazy person.

She is convinced that as the heroine she can have all the love interests at the same time, and that killing our mc would make it possible. She awakens her heroine powers and goes after Tiara. Thankfully Aquasteed saves the day. After being locked away for a while, Akari changes her mind and decides that she and Tiara should be friends since they are both reincarnators. She even gives Tiara some advice regarding the second game's heroine. And threatens to get rid of the people who might get in the way of Tiara's happy ending.

Akari does end up marrying Prince Hartknights, but he is very disappointed after seeing the love of his life go crazy over another man. I was glad to see a stupid prince that for once realized that the woman he loved loves him just as much she loves any other love interest. That in her eyes he is just a handsome collectible, not a real person. That's the only high EQ moment in the entire story, btw.
Oh, and the first part of the story ends with Akari being temporaraly locked up and Tiara moving to Aquasteed's country. That's where the second half of the story happens. There she meets her other love interest (the fairy king) and the other love rival / heroine, whose EQ is so low she only realizes she had a crush on Aquasteed at the end of the story.
So, yeah. Get ready for many misunderstandings and a LOT of cheesy romantic moments. Tiara and Aquasteed are a sugarly sweet couple from beginning to end. But keep failing to communicate with each other somehow. LOL

seriously, why did the author have to make the game protagonist so incredibly stupid? she would have had potential as a rival queen more than someone who tried to confess to another prince in front of her own fiancee who declared their engagement just minutes prior...
Realistically, no matter how dumb you are, or even if the whole royalty thing is out of the picture, you don't try to cheat with the guy who's proposed to your fiancee's ex in front of said fiancee. That requires an impressive degree of stupidity that no human alive would have. Or at least, any human lacking social skills to such an extent would probably never have a fiancee to begin with...
It would have been so much more awesome as a political drama between kingdoms, false smiles and plots galore! Vastly prefer villanous woman's justice to this, it's no fun if the competition is stupid evil or if mc is a white lotus
