I get where you're coming from, but I think manga puppy was trying to point out that these girls already knew how possessive he was before they even started dating him.
He never forced them to be alone or said that they cant hang out with others, he just wanted to be with them a lot and expressed that he would prefer it if they were alone. Take example from the last chapter, the girl said that she was going to karaoke with friends and invited him to come with, but he said he would rather be alone with her and she said that it was alright. Same with the girl in the attic. He never forced her to be in there, never locked the door. She stayed there of her own volition and went home when she missed her mom. He never said that she couldn't leave, but he was still accused of keeping her in their against her will.
Whether how he expressed his love was wrong or right, his personality is like that and he needs someone who can understand that and work with it.

Why do people keep talking shit. Ik when i saw a glimpse of this manga i thought the seme was a pyscopath, like maybe he abuse girls or shits like that. But after reading it i actually discovered he is not bad, he listens to the wishes of hia lovers and take care of them, only thing is he just wants to be with them.
