    yep Eunike

Right? I'm sure it was mentioned around the early chapters.

It was the case right from the start and never was a secret

why is this even a debate? It was literally mentioned in the first chapter before she got killed.

did you not read the first chapters?

She didnt have to act like a boy since she was a tomboy and very strong the assumed she was a boy....

    Exactly ^

Right? And people are mentioning about how to feel about BL and Shoujo together. Even my sister is telling me that she was a boy from the start. I mean, how the heck did that happen when the Main Character said in her POV that she was originally a girl so it didn't really matter.

    Saya October 15, 2019 12:51 am

Right .... she mentioned it a few times that she was a girl....

Ikr? Honestly it just feels like people aren't even focusing on what they are reading or have a very short memory

I really want to retaliate to my sister about it, but she was so stubborn so I just shut the fuck out my mouth. Ghaad! It was annoying and then I rea comments here about BL (though I like it) but it was in the wrong place.

For some characters in the story, it seems to be a secret too. We don't know why the prince and princess didn't like the original Raul (potential power sturggle?) but I have a feeling the former had no idea. I am up in the air if the princess knew.
Think about it: Raul gained attention as a knight, when she was actively displaying more masculine traits. Before then, she may only have been known as a child with a high amount of power of the goddess. People can forget certain details if given a strong visual cue they maybe wrong. And as a captain, she may have had her own quarters while on missions so the other knights might not know. I can only say the nuns and the prime minister (her godfather) are the only ones who know 100% she is female.
As readers, we all should know 100% as well. I was interested in this *because* she obviously fooled quite a few people, even if slightly unintentionally.

Everyone here and I meant that it was never a secret for us readers, there is nothing mentioned about characters in the story in any of the comments in this thread. You are right, just not exactly on the right topic

I mentioned that at the end. Since I knew everyone in this thread knew, I thought it would be fun to contemplate which characters may know vs. not know instead of beating a dead horse.
