I think it may be some special fruit which is more expensive than regular fruit.. I know they have that in Korea, but not sure about China.. This fruit tastes apparently much better and is much larger too. It's so expensive that koreans typically eat it on special occasions or buy it as gifts..
And Mo's pay is probably very little given the labor costs in China. He is a part-timer too, so he probably only works at the store for like 2-3 hours a day.
