yea guys, i know, and i appreciate the responses. *sigh* i guess i'm just tired. i DO think we are supposed to believe yashiro loves doumeki (and he's in denial or something), but i've just never been a fan of the whole plot device / reasoning of "i love you, but i can't be with you". or "in order to protect you, i must deny my feelings and make you think i don't care". it's so old, and overused y'know? and i think yoneda kou is better than that. plus, isn't yashiro out of the yakuza now anyway? what do they have to lose? they've already been through hell / life or death. love is a risk, man. just take it! urgh maybe it's impossible to hope for a happy ending for a yakuza manga, but that IS what i wish for with all my heart. T_T
gosh. i dunno if i wanna even continue following. it was so painful up until the end of the last part. i thought yashiro understood that his feelings for doumeki were love...but i guess not. i don't think i can handle this. so slow and painful, and i've endured for far too long (from the beginning, in fact)
