well tbh, the plot isn't great so far.
from what i caught onto it might lead to something where they are going to be on the run for there lives or something because there some secret that hasnt really came out yet

Not much has happened really. It's very much a slow burning story and it would have probably went out if the main omega had not decided that he wants to become stronger and defend himself.
This seems like a full life story of this couple starting from early childhood ,so the manga would have ups and downs, eventful and non eventful parts . Thats what I am guessing. I don't understand what part has this story not made sense, its still a very simple , story despite a/b/o ,so I don't understand your confusion.
