
Also, even though those 'chrysanthemums' couldn't have been anything but gerberas, they had rose foliage on them. Gerberas don't have any foliage on the stem, and the plant foliage looks nothing like a rose's.
I know I'm being picky, but for some reason this is really getting to me????
If you're writing a florist story, know your flowers!!! Chrysanthemums, gerberas, roses, and lilies are all basic "step 1" flowers, they're not even complicated or unique.
Like, it's fine if the normal person doesn't know these flowers (I didn't either until a few years ago), but a basic google search will nut it out!!

Like, I'm not expecting everyone to know every flower, but if you're writing a book about a florist, the least you could do is get the (two of the most basic) flowers right.
