It's possible, but the only thing that keeps me being skeptical is that it was said they separated because the woman could not handle his line of work. I would think Reiko is used to the burdens and things that come with being able to see.

maybe i'm reaching but could masayiko (already forgot his name ops) be natusme's grandfather, and the woman he had to seperate from could be reiko. it makes sense as his grandfather was never known
